i have curly ringlet kind of hair, which can, and usually does, become really frizzy. it annoys me to the fullest. especially since when u have curly hair u can't get layers, or bangs, or anything! just because it'll get poofy. plus, i looooove straight hair and straighting my hair takes (i am not kidding) 2 hours. even though it only goes a little past me shoulders.
i need some really nice haircut ideas. some ways to make my hair look defrizzy withought the hardness like gel results to. i really need to knooooow. im despret!!!!! pleeeaaaasssseeee.Curly curly hair style suggestions?
I have curly hair to and I hate when it gets frizzy. I like when it have nice individual curls, but I hate the stiff gelled look. I get some stuff called FrizzEaze It is a serum for your hair. It makes it shiny, soft and seriously controls fly away hair. I love it. If you can't find this particular brand I have tried other brands of the same thing, they all worked really well. Any one that says ';serum'; As far as the cut I find with my hair if I keep it mostly one length, the longer the better the weight of my hair helps to keep it from poofing out too much.
Good luck!Curly curly hair style suggestions?
I have curly hair and its in layers, but they're longer layers, trust me short = afro.
I usually put mousse in my hair and it works and keeps the frizz down. before you go to bed just braid you hair into two and then when you wake up it'll look really nice and not as...volumized.
u can get your hair professionally done so that your hair stays straight.
i think it looks cute in a pony tail, or mayb somthing new like pig tails (i think it looks cute on people with curly hair, for ppl like me with straight hair it makes us look really young, thats my opinion) u can braid it in 2 braids, if you mom knows how to french braid u can always do that.
thin out your hair. ask the hairdresser and do it!

You can have ringlets in that frizzy bush, I can tell. You don't even know how pretty your hair can be. Frizzy hair is gorgeous too but I have the answer if you want defined curls. Listen, I have a great method for your hair. I like naturallycurly.com and other like sites becuase it helped me understand my texture instead of just calling it unruly, wild, frizzy, poofy, unmanageble, nappy, afro etc. I found out I have 4A/B texture and why my hair does the things it does. I love the products advice and curly support too. It doesn't have to be straight to be easy to comb. Find a conditioner with slip.
You would have to read the book Curly Girl by Lorraine Massey for the full CG method but here it is outlined with the basics:
CG METHOD:
1. No brushing
2. Only comb hair with a wide tooth comb with conditioner in it.
3. Do not wash every day. Opinion differs but it can anywhere from every other day to once every two weeks. Curly hair is easily dried out and needs natural oils to help curls clump. Focus on scalp when you do wash. Hair gets clean from run off.
4. Eliminate sulfates/silicones from hair products, they build up in curly hair causing frizz.
5. Curly hair eats up moisture. Deep treatments every two weeks, condition every time you co wash (wash hair with condish) and have a leave in condish every day.
6. Twist/braids at night to avoid tangling.
7. Apply gel after washing hair or a humectant, This prevents frizz.
8. Plop hair with an micro fiber towel rather than terry cloth. If you are in a hurry you can diffuse hair.
8. Touch hair very little throughout the day.

AMAZING RESULTS!!!!!
TERRI'S METHOD:
If you don't want to get rid of your sulfates/silicones. It can be hard to find products without them or teh CG method doesn't work for your hair I like this site and Terri's method:

Great for mixed girls!

The only difference between these two methods? Not much besides the products and plopping. Any method that decreases frizz and makes curly hair healthier will include
1. Some type of humectant to hold curls together in humidity
2. lots of conditioner
3. no brushing
4. shampooing less
5. combing hair only when it has conditioner in it and NEVER DRY.
