i need help with my curly hair. im tired of how it looks, down parted to the side,. so if you have any ideas any at all. that would helpCurly Hair Style??!!!?
Well you gave us very little information to start with. If they are tight curls or wavy hair, and also the colour. You could try straightening it for a new look. Or you can play around and tie it different ways, but curly hair is best naturally let down, maybe add a little spray of mousse or hair spray for more shine and volume.

i'd just wear it normally down..try mousses and cremes...theres one called ';Curls Rock'; and it works soo well.
u can do a puff in the middle, not a big one not too fancy, or u can put it down or put it up or go get a perm

If you have more frizzy/nappy hair, you can achieve the look with a perm/relaxer. Think ';Modern Geri-Curl'; LOL! I've spent years in salons having evil things done to my hair to make it more relaxed. Definitely go to one that specializes in Black hair. I'm always the only white girl in there, but they know how to deal with my mess!
I think you need to accept your curly texture ad work with it. What I advice is to get familiar with gel. Cause if you are only ';half'; black then your hair can't be that ';nappy'; .

I have very thick curly/wavy blond hair. A few months ago I dyed it from golden blond (my natural color) to a sunflower blond. I now have about 2 in. grown out of my natural hair color. I want to re-dye it, but I'm at a lost what to do. I think the black under the blond looks cool, but only on people with straight hair. I once saw a picture of a girl with blond curly hair with a few streaks of black in it, and thought it looked pretty cool. Does any one know a link with a picture like that? do not do it! i see loads of ppl with the whole black and blonde thing, and i'm telling it is not worth it. wen u die blonde hair black after a while it tends to fade into a hideous shade of green. unless u can afford going to the salon for touchups very week, avoid this.

what i can recommend though is streaking ur hair with verying shades, like a platinum blonde and a few thin strands of chocolate brown lowlights, and the base colour being a buttery blonde. or maybe ur loking for a wilder look? u can dye ur hair a deep dark red shade -which will loook really vampy but fiery at the same time and goes really well with curls.

As for styling products, Fructis has a fabulous line to give you great curls. First shampoo and condition with Fructis Curl %26amp; Shine. If you've got dry hair or split ends, I reccommend using Fructis 3 minute conditioning treatment as well. Towel dry and gently comb/pick through hair. Work in Fructis Curl %26amp; Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream. Comb again. Then use a small amount of Fructis Soft Curls (its this waxy cream in a round tub). Rub into hands and work into hair. Flip over your head and scrunch it up with a towel. Flip back over and blow dry on low or cool while scrunching small sections. Dry it partly and let rest air dry naturally. Finish with Fructis Curl %26amp; Shine hairspray. Voila!!!

All the Fructis products are about $2-$5 at any supermarket/drugstore/etc. And they leave your hair in impecible condition because they use so little alcohol in their products.

that's funny you asked that, my hair is like that right now, Nicole stylist bobbed her hair, it is a medium bob, and cut long bangs...Her hair is curled by large barrel curling irons, her bang is blow dryed out with a round brush...sometimes it is not even curled it is just blow dryed out that way with the brush, curled under...the style is very versatile!

my hair is exactly the same. i use redken shampoo and conditioner. i shampoo about 2-3 times a week and condition every day. when i get out of the shower, i wrap it is a towel for a while, the put suave mousse in it. i let it dry about 50 percent of the way then use a diffuser on my blow dryer. i flip my hair over and dry for about 1 minute, the flip it up and scrunch dry until it is no longer wet. it works really well for me. my hair is also straighter on the bottom layers, so i use a really small curling iron to fix the straighter pieces. then hairspray and voila!Curly Hair Styling Help!?

What are some good hair styles for really curly hair? When I say curly, I mean that it actually makes ringlets / springs on its own. I just want something simple that doesn't take long to do. Also, I don't have (nor intend to have) bangs. So, any ideas?Curly hair styles?
I have this exact hair and I know what i pain it is to try and find something other then pony tails to do with it. Here's some tips I have found work really well for me.





Try VO5 Curl Mousse. You can find it at Walmart. It works really well when you just scrunch it into your curls. It makes them look likes those nice curls you see in magazines, without the frizz.





Try Herbel Esseneces Body Envy Volumizing Spray. Volume doesn't sound like a great idea with curls, I know, but it really works well with them. It gives them an extra bounce while keeping your look in place. It also smells amazing all day long.





Try a Shoulder or above cut. It's easier to take care of and looks more styled them a lot of thick messy curls. It's also easier to wear down.





Also, try thick one-color headbands and flowers. A fake flower tucked behind one ear looks amazing with curly hair. I love doing that with my hair. It's so easy and looks so cute.





And, on days when you just feel like putting a hat on, try putting your curls in low hanging pig tails. They make these little pom pom type things that look really cute under a good hat, especially if they're pulled back a bit.

I think it would look cute to do a bun if you can somehow get your hair up into a bun, then (just depending on how small or how curly) Get a some of your hair from right next on the left of your ear, and keep that part down. it should not be a thick strand, just medium size, and put hairspray to make your hair less curly if u know how that works, so youll have a nice bun with side loose curls. Ive tryed this on my best friend she has really curly hair...hope you like the hairstyle, and good luck!
split your hair to the side then at the top of ur hair comb it down like flatten it then pin so it would only be curly at the end or grow it out and just put it at the side

curly hair is harder to style but you can always experiment with partings (obviously stop before comb-over :P).

1) put a leave in cream in your hair, if it seems heavy when you rub it in your hands dont use it as it will make ur hair like dreadlocks. use a light leave in cream and twist every section using your thumb and first finger, twisting the hair until it goes tight.

2) to make it look a bit different, you could use a comb to create two partings (dont put up too much hair or it will turn to elvis and the hair clips probs wont hold it!!) on the top of your head and clip it back. if the front of your hair is long, once clipped you can just twist the back bits into the back of the hair so it isnt sticking up at the back.
i have curly har too and a stylist told me that you don't need much 4 the hair, just use a curly hair shampoo, conditioner, and while you are still on shower with a brush, comb your hair and then just apply a product , the curls are loose but look nice, try it out.
try a high ponytail when your hair is wet. otherwise, use leave-in conditioner, comb it, and put hairspray in it and leave it down.

You don't want a lot of layers with curly hair. No matter the length, you want long layers so it curls nicely otherwise with lots of layers it will just stick out. But depends on how curly your hair is.

hmmm curly hair me too i would suggest your shortest be no shorter than between the chin and cheek because it will make your part disapear and your curls will just take over the top part. try not to lose too much lenth at first in case you dont like it layers will change up your look alot hope this helps!

when curling your hair, wrap it around the curling iron with your hand. use medium sized pieces. start at the head leaving about an inch then wrap it around leaving about an inch of your tips un wrapped. it'll give you a relaxed and wavy curl like kate's. i do my hair like that all the time. dun 4get hairspray. add a lot to the bottom half of your hair.

Uhmmm have you tried s crimper? Or maybe the scrunching technique? Oh wait! What you do is have a shower and put in braids (w/o blow drying) and leave over night. Sorry to hear your hair is over damaged. Try a really good conditioner like the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition line of products. That should help with the damage. And just a trim will do- your hair is fantastic at the length it is pictured. Maybe even a bit longer, if you can get it there.
