Curly hair styling help?

my hair is really curly and pretty frizzy and sadly doesnt grow fast. i want to wear it down but it puffs up even with gel.i always wear it up and i'm trying 2 pick it more often instead of brushing so it isnt as frizzy and nicer curls. is there anything i can try that will make it easier to manage or even so i can wear it down? im open 4 anything even if it'll take a while to make if good.Curly hair styling help?
Have you tried getting layers put in and getting it thinned out? Mine is super curly and that is what I went and got done to mine. Your stylist will have suggestions for you as well. Mine told me to only wash once a week.,the rest of the time, condition only. It helps to not dry it out. Also, to use a diffuser instead of a hair dryer, and to scrunch in lots of mousse before drying. If you air dry, scrunch out excess water with a towel, hairspray and then scrunch again.Curly hair styling help?
I have the same exact problem. But i got a relaxer at target thats only about $8. It really works. Now my hair is straight and i wear it down all the time. I pretty sure its called Generations. Its a white box and it has a lady with short straight hair on it. If you dont wan to do a relaxer then i suggest pink oil spray and oil sheen. Ii moisturizes ur hair and scalp. But the relaxer is the best thing to do. Hope i hepled ya!!
theres curl activator at sally's its really good i use it on my curly hair too and hairspray really helps too the curl activator cost about 5.99 its not that expensive but the tubes are really small but u dont use alot at one time i forgot what it's called but it's in a pink tube its in the hairspray section.
