How to get this curly hair style? (pics!)?

Allright, my hair is naturally wavy and really thick! I'm going to get it trimmed and layered and I want to get a look like this

http://www.hairstyles-magazine.net/wp-co…

My hair is a little shorter than hers (maybe an inch or 2)

What kind of iron would I need, or if you know any other way--Let me know!

Thanks much! How to get this curly hair style? (pics!)?
first wash %26amp; shampoo as usual. then apply a frizz cream %26amp; a good volumizing mousse to damp hair. Blow dry upside down concentrating on the roots for max volume. Roll 1 - 2 inch sections in medium sized hot rollers all over (small ones would make the curls too tight). Allow rollers to cool completely. Unroll and spray with a flexible hold hairspray (because from the pic her curls look soft so you want a spray that won't make them all hard). Hope I helped, and the style looks great! =)How to get this curly hair style? (pics!)?
i had that exact same pic taken to a hairdresser and she did it for me with a curling iron, even tho my hair is naturaly curly (big ringlet curls) just like the pic, but i had a haircut first so yeah..

and you can also put your hair into tissue and put it around each bit of hair and leave it till the next morning, comes out the most cutest thing iv ever seen!!
Wet set it with rollers with a product like MIxed Chicks leave-in in. Then, remove the rollers when dry (air dry or under a drying hood), then lightly, with your fingers, style the curls so they have a more natural flow.
Rollers. I do this with my hair once in awhile and it takes a lot of patience, rollers and paul mitchells spray (i dont know what its called but it feels kind of oily and keeps the frizzies down.)
oh, i used to have that exact hair style. my hair is super thick too. use the 3/4 inch one. that one works the best because it's small and easiest to use.
A ceramic 1 inch curling iron
use a curling iron and curl strand by strand. and use a lot of hairspray!!!
