Any ideas for sort curly hair styles??? pics!!?
i have a little longer than shoulder length hair? :P and its wavy/curly, but when i wake up in the morning i don't kno wat to do to it...sooo i need some ideas with pics please! that would help much!!!Any ideas for sort curly hair styles??? pics!!?

Omg same problem. Then I thought and came up with a solution. Ok I have shoulder length 3a curls. What I do is braid and leave is a day and tada. Next, my fav, Is CURL curly hair with a curling iron. Crazy it sounds but it looks great, it gives you movie star curls and it holds all day, just use a little spray and good. You could also try mini braids through out your hair, they stay in when ur swimming and look good I suggest hair ties to match ur outfit. Just be careful when taking them out, it can hurt. Pigtail braids are adorable, stay in, and when taken out relax your hair. My fav is the curling iron one, it's the best, whenever i use it compliments are following me that day lol.

Since you are natural try essential oils to grow and thicken your hair. when your hair is wet you can put it in bendy rollers and keep them in over night. Then when you takee them out it leaves a nice natural curl and makes the hair feel and look thicker. To make it thicker you can get speacial hair shampoo and conditioner.
if you want it curly then put your hair in little plats befor you go too bed (the bigger the plat the less wavey) and if you want it thiker and you have thin hair cut it short and layered at the back or ask your hair dresser for ideas
When your hair is wet, you can put some mousse in it and scrunch it, then blow dry it on low speed... This makes really nice natural looking ringlets and adds a little bit of volume... If I were you I'd also put some heat defence serum in (id recommend L'oreal studio heatseeker... Its really good!)
I have curly hair and one way you can twist it is by getting your hair wet then grabbing 2 strands of hair than twisting them together(do that till all your hair is in twists). then put it against your head and clip it. then about 30min to an 1hour later take out all the clips and you have twists

when your hair is wet you can put it in bendy rollers and keep them in over night. Then when you takee them out it leaves a nice natural curl and makes the hair feel and look thicker. To make it thicker you can get speacial hair shampoo and conditioner.
if you want it curly then put your hair in little plats befor you go too bed (the bigger the plat the less wavey) and if you want it thiker and you have thin hair cut it short and layered at the back or ask your hair dresser for ideas

You should def. buy mousse. It's like gel but way better, and gives your hair a nice touchable feel to it. I recommend, Garnier Curls and Shine Mousse. I use it myself. You can style your hair with the mousse. I like to wet my hair and put mousse in it then style it. It works the best.

I have medium-lengthed hair, some layers, very curly..
I'd prefer to wear it down, and please don't suggest straightening it :) my hair doesn't really look good completely down, unless anyone has any tips to make it look right? thanks!Curly hair styles for school?
First of all, way to go for not straightening it! Embrace your curls.
As for my personal suggestion, here's what I do. After I get out of the shower, I LIGHTLY towel dry my hair. Then, I squirt some mousse into my hands and run it through my hair and scrunch. (Sometimes I need more than 1 squirt.) Any kind of mousse will do, I think. You don't need the expensive kind. Then I usually follow up with Herbal Essances spray gel over that and let it air dry. (For me, blowdrying makes me look like Bozo the clown, but in the winter, you might want to dry it before going out.)
Then, for extra help on those frizzy days, I have been using Biosilk Silkening Balm AFTER ITS COMPLETELY DRY (not before or it gets sticky.)
Finally, if your hair doesn't work well with this procedure, since all curly hair is a bit different, check out www.naturallycurly.com. It's a great site with all kinds of advice, and will make you feel better about your curls.

I unlike many ppl hav a wonderful hair type its wavy. i can make it curly or straght without much hassle. so i cant really help u with this one.
try to put some gel in it
My hair is EXACTLY the same. What i do is:
- wash it with extra conditioning products
-put oil through only the ends when its damp
-braid it tightly to keep the curl and frizz down at night

Yes, long layers work very well with curls. The layers will help with drying and untangling time, and the hair will also hang better. However, do not get short layers as they will stick up and look funny. Don't let them thin your hair with razors either or it will look ratty at the ends as they grow out. I usually make my hair straight with a straightener and i wanted to know what kind of styles would be good for me? i dont like curly hair btw.. i just hate my dad for giving me curly hair and my bro got straight hair %26gt;%26lt;

Personally, i have medium extremely curly hair. One thing that i love to do is put my hair up in a high ponytail. use some mousse or strong hold gel to curl your hair around your finger. from there, bobby pin the curls in a swirl and your hair will be looking nice, but not over the top!!!!!

well, i LOVE curly hair. they look GREAT with highlights. i think, that (if its not too much money) you should get some strawberry blonde/auburn type colored highlights. my hair is dark brown and it looked good in my hair. my skin tone is light i wish you told me your skin tone. idk about your layers though, with curly hair... its hard to pull off. it depends how curly it is.
of course you could straiten it if you wanted to and got bangs and straitened those. strait across bangs are in right now.
there are these big clips that i dont know the name of but they clip all your hair up at once. you could simply put it up in the back or on the side and THAT would be amazing.

drop curls, beach waves, side bang in front. curl your hair outwards in the front and under in the back. you can even do loose crimps
Just use some mouse and hairspray and scrunch it. Pull your bangs back in a side poof. Its cute.

I need to get my hair cut and wanted something new. Last time I got it cut I had it so it was long enough to fit in a ponytail. I want something about that length. I have ultra curly hair and often have trouble with findiong suitable hair styles. This really important dance before graduation is happening ( not prom) and I have no clue what to do with my hair. I can't go to a hair salon because I'm doing that for graduation night which is 2 days afterwards. What do I do? BTW I can not straighten my hair very well with the straightener I have.
