Different hair styles?

I have long dark hair and I have a side fringe, I'm really bored of it, but I don't want to have it any shorter. I want a different hair style though. At the moment it is very plain. Got any ideas of what I can do?

colour it?? curl it?? best way to curl use GHD straighteners. you could get it layered but ask for long layers if you want to keep the length
use a Chi flat iron to make a huge ';S'; wave all over your hair... you know, when it starts close to the head, and about between your chin %26amp; ears, it moves out, and then curls in again until your shoulders, and out again, and keep going until it ends curling back IN. You can flip your bangs outward, too, for a cute look.

those r the closest thing i could find to what I meant.
I think curls look really nice, and if you don't have curlers you can use straighteners, which i think look better anyway the curls are much bouncier.

Some bright 'flashes' of colour would be a great change, post-box reds and electric blues look wicked on dark hair!

You could also go to the hairdressers and ask for a re-style but keep the length, or have a set (non-permanent curls) until you find something suitable...Have fun!
